Jumps and spins may not be everyones’ favorites, but they are skills that I believe everyone should know. I, for example, truly prefer my feet on the ground 100% of the time, so jumping is not my favorite; however, you never know when hopping over something may be your best/ safest/ only option. It happens! These are the essential jumps and spins that I recommend learning.

Not everyone likes to jump and/or spin. That’s perfectly okay.
These skills require different parts of your body working together. Work on your timing.
Your core is a very important factor in rotating. Focus on it.
The closer you bring your hands into your chest, the faster you will rotate.
Toe stops are regularly worn when jumping and spinning. They are not only a great safety net when feeling off-balance, they can help with the actual jump or spin.
