Holiday Gift Guide

UPDATED 11/30/22

Skaters, it’s time to make that list of all the things we have been eyeing all year long and share it with everyone we know!

I asked my friends on Instagram and Discord (What up Quad Society?!) what they would want as a Holiday gift and this is what they said. Yes, all of this! Some of these things are essential…to safety, health, success, happiness, and most obviously fun. If you are worried that they might be obsessed with skating, they are, and it’s okay. We’re all in this together.

Ps. I’m going to start with a shameless plug because I love what I do and I want to share it with everyone!

Skating Classes & Private lessons!

Hey, that’s where i come in! My name is nicole and i teach roller skating online to amazing people from all around the world. it doesn’t matter what skill level you are, where you live, or how young/old you are. i am here to help!

a little about me: i have skated my entire life and competed in artistic roller skating for almost 20 years. during those years, i won five world medals, four of them gold! when i retired from competition, i began teaching and choreographing other competitors. when 2020 happened, i turned my attention to forming an online community and sharing my knowledge/love of skating with everyone i could. When you take part in my classes, you are also joining a beautiful and diverse community of people wanting to better their lives through movement, particularly roller skating!

I have a couple to choose from: the paid memberships give you access to the full library of previous skills, drills, and choreography classes. the roll with me membership includes the live online classes where i can provide real-time feedback to your skating each week. There is also a free trial with 3 previous skills classes, a beginner/intermediate choreography class, and an advanced choreography class to check out what it’s all about!

And now you can book private lessons with me! These lessons can be for you or someone you love. Members, make sure you log in and book through the private lesson tab.

wheels!

The skater in your life is not lying when they say they need multiple sets of wheels. it is truly important to have different wheels for different terrain and skills.

larger, softer wheels are great for skating outdoors and rolling over those pesky pebbles. smaller, harder wheels are great for spinning, sliding turns, and practicing funky footwork.

when buying wheels, make sure you get 8 wheels. some wheels are sold in packs of 4, so you may need to buy 2 packs.

You Can’t Go Wrong With Light-Up Wheels!

They Come In Multiple Colors!

Wheels need assistance in rolling and that comes from…

Bearings!

Bones Reds Are My Go-To!

Similar to wheels, you may need to buy more packs than just one. Each wheel needs 2 bearings and skates have 8 wheels. This means you will need 16 bearings total for both skates!

To change the bearings in your wheels you may need a…
