Holiday Skate Center in Orange, CA is facing permanent closure. A proposal to the City of Orange to demolish the rink and replace it with townhomes has been submitted. If we don't act now, this community landmark will be gone forever.
I learned to skate at Holiday Skate and built my entire career teaching here. For generations of Orange County families, this rink has been a safe place to come together: birthday parties, date nights, fundraisers, after-school programs, and memories that last a lifetime.
This is not just a building. It is a community institution.
