10 Halloween Costumes With Skates
Happy Spooky Season!!!
Halloween is comin’ in hot and I’ve put together a list of my favorite Halloween costumes… with roller skates! Because…duh!

1. Flying Witch with A Broom (For Those Darn Pebbles)
Multi-tasking…we love to see it!
A broom is so useful while skating! And flying.
Skating with loved ones? Be a good friend and sweep the area before you roll.
2. Cat-Shark on a Roomba
I mean…c’mon! Show off your speed AND your spins!
I continue to stare at this gif. It never gets old.

3. Starlight Express
A musical…performed entirely on roller skates.
Please look this up if you don’t know what I’m talking about.
It is amazing! Plus, these costumes are outrageous!

4. Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey
There have been quite a few Harley Quinn costumes over the past few years, but not many on skates!
Although this stunt sequence is amazing, I don’t fully recommend using a motorcycle to tow you on skates. It sure does look fun though!

5. Pokemon Skater
Did you know that in Pokemon X/Y, you can learn tricks?! ON SKATES?!?!
I know some skaters prefer roller blades or inline skates when Skating outside, so this could be perfect!

6. Reggie from Rocket Power
Reggie is known for being a Bada$$ “Tomboy” and dislikes most girly things. However, when Reggie and Clio challenge each other to switch sports, Reggie turns out to be awesome at ice skating and has a great time!
This is a great opportunity to wear that full pink outfit you’ve been wanting to rock!

7. Whip It
Make your roller derby dreams come true!
This movie opened so many eyes to how rad roller derby is.
Plus, helmets are cool.
8. Quidditch Player
Calling all Harry Potter fans…
Get your crew together and battle it out.
Everything really is more fun on skates. Even (especially) Quidditch.
9. Leslie in Parks and Recreation
Leslie skips The Party in this episode, but you can roll right into your party and take a seat if you desire!
There’s always a good reason to wear overalls, And this is one of them.
10. Blades of Glory
Last, but certainly not least.
I skated to Firebird in 2009 and wore a similar costume to this orange/red one worn by Will Ferrell. This was not on purpose, but I kind of wish it had been.
There are so many different characters and costume options from this movie - none of which will disappoint.
ps. I do not suggest trying The Iron Lotus. IT JUST DOESN’T SEEM SAFE.
